Ms. Andrea Ramirez, 60, passed away Friday, July 14 at her home in Chico, CA with her family by her side. Andrea was the youngest of seven and the only girl born to Jessie and Norma Ramirez in January 1963.

She grew up in Orland, CA and graduated from Orland High School. She would go on to marry and have three children during her early twenties as well as moving across the country and overseas, due to her husband being in the military. Andrea would later move and settle in Chico with her children.

Andrea loved music and going to concerts. She also loved going out dancing. Swing dancing and line dancing was her thing. During football season, she never missed watching a Raiders game. During baseball season, she never missed watching a Giants game. She also loved to read, in fact most afternoons you could find her sitting on her front porch, soaking up the sunshine reading a book.

Andrea cherished family gatherings. She loved her family so much. Not just her children but her siblings and many nieces and nephews and she would put every one of her family members before herself.

She is survived by her three children Tonya Tyler (Salvador Garnica), Roxanne Chavez (Ronn Chavez), and Anthony Tyler (Kirstyn Steele) and her six grandchildren, as well as her brothers, David Ramirez (Nancy), Dennis Ramirez (Penny), Edward Ramirez (Marjorie), and Tony Ramirez (Shryell) and many nieces and nephews. Andrea is proceeded in death by her parents, Jessie and Norma Ramirez, brothers Jessie Ramirez Jr. and Peter Ramirez and her niece Nancy Ramirez.

Services for Ms. Ramirez will be on August 24, 2023, 10 am at Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary in Orland, CA.
