Kent passed peacefully, on Dec. 28, 2020 after a brief illness. Born June 28th, 1928 to B.E. and Ima Plott in Ojai Ca., Kent moved with his family to Orland Ca in 1937 and later they moved to Vina, Ca. Kent graduated from Los Molinos High School in 1947.

Before going to the army in 1950, Kent met his future wife Donnis Hulbert at a dance in Paradise. On November 12, 2020 they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. After retiring from over 30 years as a local dairyman in Vina and then Orland, Kent began a Truss Business, and then later went to work for Longfellow Lumber running their Truss Business until retiring at age 77.

Kent enjoyed working as much as he did playing. Family reunions in Ojai Ca every year, motor home trips, Class reunions in Orland and Los Molinos, Trustee of the Orland Federated Church, and of course with his pilot's license, Kent loved flying. "You had a Great Life, Sonny."

Kent is survived by his wife of 70 years Donnis, Daughters Karen Landrum (Dwayne, Grandchildren Keith and Katie, Janet Clark (Roger), Son Eric Plott (Polly), Grandchildren Tyler, Brad, Brother Bill Plott (Betty), Sister Sharon Williams, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Kent was laid to rest at the Vina Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at the Orland Federated Church at a later date.
