Charles Elmer Embrey, 83, of Orland passed away on July 7, 2023 at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California. Charles was born on July 16, 1939 to Joe and Alice Embrey in Pocasset, Oklahoma.

Charles was a resident of Orland, California for the last 57 years. He owned and worked on his Cattle Ranch for all of his life. Charles married Juanita on September 28, 1963. This year they would be celebrating 60 years of marriage.

Charles is survived by his wife Juanita Embrey, daughter Vicki Cooper, daughter Lorie Embrey, brother Gene Embrey, and brother Larry Embrey. Charles is preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Embrey, sister Donna Dragseth, father Joe Embrey, and mother Alice Embrey.

A chapel service will be held at Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM. A reception will take place following the service.
