Darlene Forbes, age 83 of Orland, passed away August 1, 2018 at Enloe Medical Center due to a massive left brain hemorrhage.

Darlene was born on December 23, 1934 in Loveland, Colorado, to parents, Henry & Amelia Kayser.  Upon completing her schooling in Orland, Darlene actively pursued her many interests, including bible study, Sunday school teacher, organist, and medical office manager.

Darlene enjoyed 64 happy years of marriage with her husband, Marvin, having wed in 1954.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Forbes, children, Brent Forbes (Kelly Ann), Scott Forbes (Barb), Kelly Nadine Smock (Claude), Wade Forbes (Gina), & many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren, almost all of whom live in Orland, CA.

Please join us on Friday, August 10, at 10:00 A.M., for a Graveside Service at the Odd Fellows Cemetery on County Road P.  A Celebration of Life will be held immediately afterward at the Country Bible Church.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the Country Bible Church, 5000 3rd Ave, Orland .
