Dennis Dewayne Parker was born October 5, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Edith Edna Parker and Andrew Parker. Dennis entered into rest on October 25, 2021, at the age of 66. In 1957, the Parker family moved to Sacramento, California, and remained in Sacramento for 32 years, farming and raising animals.

In 1989, Dennis relocated to Corning, California, and permanently made Orland, California, his home.Dennis was loved by all that he met, and was always making friends throughout the community of Orland. Known for his smile and quiet nature, he will be greatly missed by all.

Dennis is survived by his Daughter, Melani Parker, Grandchildren: Jordan Buford, Kasahji Shabazz, and Hadahri Shabazz. Sisters: Pearl Cannon (Charles), Wanda Bitner, Ione Parker (Charles), and Moddie Parker, Brother: Lester Parker, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved Parents, Andrew & Edith Parker, Sisters: Barbara Jean Jones, LaVern West, and Vaunita Walker, and Brothers: DeLloyd Lewis and Andrew Parker Jr.

Services are held under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.
