Denny Stilwell passed away at the age of 87. He was born on April 3, 1932, in Craig, Colorado to Harry and Bessie Stilwell. He was defferred from the military to take care of his family. So he went to work at an early age, driving a bobtail milk truck. He also drilled wells for Lely's and drove truck for Valley Rock and Frank Manneus. He later went to work for Jack Spence driving truck and being a mechanic with a lifetime of skills and passion.
In 1952, he married Phyllis Richards and had 5 children. In 1982, he married Sally Lytle.
His main passion was to work and drive truck. He loved riding his motorcycles and camping. He loved being around his kids and sharing stories of his time on the road.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Stilwell of Corning, daughter Chris Stilwell of Orland, sons David (Vicky) Stilwell of Orland, Ronald (Suzane) Stilwell of Orland, Philip (Kerry) Stilwell at Flournoy, and stepson Paul (Maggie) Meilo of Chico.
He is also survived by his sister, Betty Panicare of Yuba City, brother, Harry (Madalane) Stilwell of Chester.
He had 14 grandkids and 16 great grandkids.
He is proceeded in death by his son, Denny, whom he lost as an infant.
He was so loved, admired and appreciated. May you be free and rest in peace.
