Dorothy Mae Anthieny (aka: Dot, Grandma Dot, G-Dot & Q-tip) was born on September 23rd, 1931 in Hughson California to Emily and Roy Doughty. She graduated from Modesto High School in 1949 and married Phillip Anthieny on July 16th, 1950. Together they raised six children, Carole Van Der Linde (Bob) of Eagle, Idaho, Ann Camper (John) of Orland, Steve Anthieny (Cori) of Orland, Jane Lansdown (Steve) of Capay, Betsy Jorgensen (Gary) of Chico and Joanie Woods (Greg) of Orland.

Dot and Phil lived on the family dairy in Patterson, California from 1950 until 1969, when they moved their entire family to their 400 acre ranch west of Orland. After the last of the Anthieny children started school, Dot started working outside of the home. She worked at Gardner's Frosty, where she made lifelong friends, and years later she worked for Duche Nut Company for over 20 years. Later in life, Dorothy enjoyed helping nurture Children at GiggleSoup Daycare. Dot adored her family, and enjoyed all opportunities to spend time with them. She loved their yearly summers spent at the families' cabin on Lake Shasta, trips to Santa Cruz, and she loved to travel to Hawaii, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas and Idaho. Dot celebrated her 90th birthday in September.

Survivors include her six children, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Dot is preceded in death by Phil, her infant grandson Mark Camper, nephew Bobby, infant brother Georgie and her sisters Betty, Beverly and Norma.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 29th @ 11 am at Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary at 825 A Street in Orland. She will be laid to rest at the Catholic Cemetery in Orland. A reception will be held at The Wildflower Ranch at 23640 Malton Switch, Orland.
