Elizabeth Louise Johnson, age 92, passed away February 14, 2024 in Orland California. Elizabeth was born April 25, 1931 in Oakland California to Benjamin and Mary Della. Her father died of tuberculosis when she was 7 years old and was raised by her mother with the help from aunts and uncles. She graduated from Oakland High School.

She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother and enjoyed her family as well as music, gardening and traveling. Her interests were vast and varied. She had a great interest in life in general and people in particular, her love and caring extended to all. She loved her little dog Benji who was her companion for the last 12 years. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughters Susie in 1977, Chere in 2007, her life partner David Rothgerry in 2018, her granddaughters Amber in 2022, April in 2022, Emily in 2023, one grandson Shane in 2023 and stepson Joe in 2023. She is survived by her son Jens Johnson and daughter in law Linda Johnson of Orland and stepdaughters Dianne, Cheryl, Laura, Susan and Linda. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
