ERNEST M TROVAO
Ernest M. Trovao, age 88 of Orland, CA passed away January 20, 2018 in Chico, CA. Ernest was born October 2, 1929 in Gustine, CA to Joseph & Diolinda Trovao. He served in the US Army. Later he worked at Pet Milk in Artois before he owned the local Waste Management business where he worked for 25 years. Ernest was a member of the Orland Volunteer Fire Department, the Orland Holy Ghost Committee, & St. Dominic's Catholic Church. In his spare time he enjoyed dunebuggying, motorcycle riding, horseback riding, & cracking nuts with Sonny & Nina. Ernest is preceeded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene; sister, Olivia Aldrich, & brother, Henry Trovao. He is survived by siblings; George Trovao (Lana), & Maria Mourfield (Mike); his dear friend, Carol James; daughters, Debbie Owen (Larry), Toni Erickson (John), & Lori Guerrero (Julio). Grandchildren, Jaime Hobbs (Brian), Jeremy Owen, Katie Miller (Matt), Brian Erickson (Krystal), Natalie Kitchen (Greg), Lindi Martinez, Adam Guerrero (Dina). Great Grandchildren, Taris Pogline, Gemma Guerrero, Brooklynn Hobbs, Grace Hobbs, Jax Miller, Rocco Erickson, Noelia Rodriquez, and Nolan Martinez. There will be a viewing Thursday, January, 25, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at F.D. Sweet & Son Mortuary, 825 A Street, Orland, CA 95963. The Rosary will be on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at the Catholic Cemetery on County Road P in Orland. Memorial contributions may be made to Orland Holy Ghost Committee, Orland Fire Departmet, or St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
