Ethel Louise Zielesch, a resident of Orland California passed away at Chico Heights Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was 95 Years old.  Ethel was born at home on August 9, 1928, in Esparto California. She was raised on a ranch and attended school in Esparto.

In 1948, Ethel married Bill Zielesch and They were married for 63 years.  She was active in Just for Children. She attended the Lutheran Church and loved her many friends. She loved gardening books and the San Francisco Giants. She was also famous for chocolate chip cookies. Ethel is preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, beloved daughter Joan and daughter-in-law Sandra. She is survived by her son Richard, sister-in-law Diane, granddaughters Laura, Megan, Ellie, and Abby as well as her great grandsons Peyton and Colton.  Ethel will be laid to rest at I.O.O.F. cemetery in Orland at 3900 County Road P. At Ethel's friend's request a memorial service will be held with immediate family on May 31, 2024, followed by a celebration of life at the Lutheran Church at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers please donate to Just for Children or the charity of your choice.
