Tino Attended Orestimba High School in Crows Landing California. After graduating he moved to Roseville California and enlisted in the army. Tino served his country in Vietnam. After his return he opened Tino's Chevron in Roseville California. He worked as a Placer County Sheriff for a time, then leaving to work for Southern Pacific Railroad. Tino then went on to work for the Department of Corrections again as a prison guard for Folsom State Prison. Tino stayed with the Department of Corrections and moved on to work for Green Valley Fire Camp until he promoted to Sergeant and transferred to Salt Creek Conservation Camp until his retirement. Tino had a passion for his job and enjoyed his duty, especially going on fire calls during fire season. Tino stood 6'7" and was our gentle giant. He was a hard-working man who took care of the needs of anyone who asked. He loved to travel and research his genealogy, where he found a large branch of long-lost family both in Mexico and Arizona. He was a wonderful husband and father and took great care of us all.

Tino had 12 sisters and brothers. He is survived by two, Linda Ware and Tony Nunez.

He is also survived by his wife Pam, son's Chris, Mike, Tino (TJ), and Anthony, daughter Teresa, grandchildren Asia and Dominick Nunez and Daphne Zimmerman, and god daughter Bella Drake. Tino has numerous nieces and nephews, Brother in Laws Bill Ware and Mikki Willis, and Sister in Laws Beverly Nunez and Judi Balupi.

Our Tino will be truly missed.
