George Joseph Trovao passed from life Saturday, August 13, 2022, in Sacramento, CA.  George was 86 years old.

Born in Gustine, CA on December 5, 1935 to mother Diolinda Machado Castro Trovao, and father Joseph Martin Trovao.  George was the third child of five.  Siblings:  Henry Trovao, Ernie Trovao & Olivia Trovao Aldrich (all have passed).  Last remaining sibling, Maria Trovao.

George leaves behind his loving devoted wife and soul mate of 53 years, Lana (Stockton) Mangum Trovao.

George had six children.  They include:  Four Trovao daughters, Robin Sodo & husband Ken (San Rafael), Tammy Wall & husband Tony (Sacramento), Teri Trovao Moore & husband Jeff (Lincoln), and  Kimberly Trovao (Sacramento).  Also two stepson's:  Jeffrey Mangum & wife Connie (Charlottesville, VA) and Timothy Mangum (Chico).

George and Lana have eleven Grandchildren:

Hannah Mangum Rouhana & husband John-Michael Rouhana (Nepean, Ontario Canada); Zachary Mangum (Chico); Samantha Mangum Durling & husband Joseph Durling (Quincy, MA); Sydney Wall & fiance Rene' Lopez  (Sacramento); Trevor Mangum (Chico); Holly Mangum (Charlottesville, VA); Caroline Sodo (Salt Lake City, Utah); Nicholas Sodo (San Rafael, CA); Christopher Sodo, (San Rafael, CA); Sean Moore (Auburn, CA); and Emily Moore (Denver, CO).

Also, two great grandchildren: Georgette Rouhana (Canada); & Clovis Rouhana (Canada).

There are numerous nieces and nephews.  Also many cousins still living in Terceira, Azores.

George was a loving giving man, and will be greatly missed by everyone.
