Gerardo “Jerry” Fuentes, 63, of Hamilton City, California, passed away on July 9, 2026. Born on December 27, 1962, in Texas, Jerry grew up to be a man of deep loyalty, quiet strength, kindness, with a love of helping others.

Jerry graduated from Hamilton Union High School in 1981 and went on to work at Johns Manville in Willows for over 30 years. Jerry enjoyed watching and playing sports, coaching his children’s sports teams, lifting weights, working on his cars, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter Paige Fuentes Lynch, his siblings Lourdes, Nancy, Lupe, Carlos, Martin, Gilberto, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Gerardo “Jay” Fuentes Jr., his parents Fidencia and Juan Fuentes, and his brothers Juan and Jesus.

Visitation will take place at Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary (825 A Street Orland, CA) on Thursday, July 16th, from 3pm - 7pm. Mass will be at Saint Dominic's Catholic Church (822 A St, Orland, CA) on Friday, July 17th, at 11am. Graveside service will immediately follow at Orland Cemetery (3900 Co Rd P, Orland, CA).

Jerry’s family will miss him greatly.
