Glenn Keith Jaquith 79 passed away on March 17, 2022 at Westhaven Senior Living in Orland, California. Glenn was born on February 23, 1943 in Chico, California to Claire and Karlene Jaquith.
Glenn attended Durham and Capay elementary Schools, and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1961. A few years after graduating High School he married the love of his life Faye on April 5, 1963. During 59 years of marriage they had two daughters, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He loved his family; they were the most important thing in his life.
After retiring from the Glenn County Road Department, he devoted his time to his bee keeping and restoring old pick-up trucks. He could always be found tinkering in his shop, his favorite place to be. He was most proud of his forklift of which he built himself. Glenn for the last 32 years was an active member with the Orland Volunteer Fire Department. For several years he held the rank of Captain.
Glenn is survived by his wife Faye Jaquith of Orland, CA, daughter Jackie (Steve) Paillon of Orland, CA, daughter Terri Finch of Orland, CA, grandson Michael Paillon of Orland, CA, grandson Kevin Paillon of San Francisco, CA, granddaughter Brittney Finch of Lincoln, CA, great-grandchild Leah Paillon of Orland, CA, great-grandchild Ashton Paillon of Orland, sister Klarene (Raymund) Olivarez of Orland, CA, nephew Ray Jr. Olivarez Orland, CA, nephew Troy Olivarez of Orland, CA, nephew Russel Olivarez of Hawaii, and niece Christina Johnson of Corning, CA.
Arrangements are held under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary. Viewing will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 1-4 PM at the Mortuary Chapel. Graveside will be held on Thursday March 24, 2022 at 10 AM at the Orland Cemetery District on County Road P.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Orland Volunteer Fire Department.
