John Fogarty, known by many as "Gootch", passed away on November 14, 2021 from the effects of COVID 19. Born in St. Paul, MN, he attended St. Marks, St. Thomas Academy and St. Thomas College – where he was recognized as a great athlete in basketball, football, and later as a scratch golfer during his years in CA. Gootch was very active in his calling to help those in need, was a devoted husband, lifelong friend to many, a beloved father, and an adored brother

He is survived by his wife, Deborah, three daughters: Erica, Anne, and Kim; seven grandchildren, Ireland, Nico, Harlee, Kenna, Joshua, Sara, Jackson, five siblings: Sharon, Judy, Mary Jo, Charles, and Kristi; and many nieces and nephews.

Our hearts are broken, but we have comfort in knowing he is at peace with his Heavenly Father.
