Jose Sandoval Carlos, 87, of Orland, California, passed away in his home on March, 17, 2025. Jose was born on September 16, 1937 in Nayarit, Mexico to his mother Maria Carlos and father Ramon Sandoval.

Jose married his wife Lucila Sandoval on September 8, 1974; he and his wife have been married for 50 years. They have three daughters and one son.

Jose has many accomplishments that he is proud of, his family being a major accomplishment. His children's and grandchildren's accomplishments, he was very proud that all his children had graduated high school, two of them received a bachelor's degree, and all of his children are very hardworking. Jose was proud to be able to purchase a home for his wife and they love gardening together.

Jose is survived by his wife Lucila Sandoval (Orland, CA), daughter Christina Sandoval (Orland, CA), daughter Otilia Martinez (Juan Martinez) (Olivehurst, CA), daughter Lucy Sandoval (Rosalio Montero) (Orland, CA), son Jose Sandoval (Orland, CA), grandsons Luis G. Sandoval, Daniel Xavier Garcia, Fabian Sandoval, Rosalio Jose Montero, Rodrigo Montero, Cristiano Sandoval, granddaughters Esmeralda Garcia, Marcela Sandoval, Carolina Sandoval, Sofia Otilia Sandoval, great grandkids Zavier Mathias Garcia,  Arrietty Esther Gontiz, his brother Jesus Lopez, sister Esther Carlos, and sister Herlinda Lopez.

Jose is preceded in death by his mother Maria Carlos and his father Ramon Sandoval.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Sweet-Olsen Family Chapel located at 825 A Street, Orland, CA. A mass will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Following mass a burial will be at the Orland Cemetery located at 3900 County Road P.
