Joseph "Zap" DeFaria passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was born in Etna, CA on December 16, 1952 to Joseph and Patricia DeFaria.

Zap spent the first half of his life in the small town of Etna before his family moved to Orland in 1972, where he remained the rest of his days.

He leaves behind his mother, Patricia De Faria; sisters, Roni and Cindy Whatley. Zap also leaves behind two sons, Rocky and Joseph DeFaria; grandsons, Christian , Alex and Joey DeFaria; along with two Great grand sons, Kaiser and Karter DeFaria; as well as countless nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph DeFaria and older brother, Royal DeFaria.

Always quick with a joke or a laugh, Zap was loved by many and will be missed by all.
