Julio Mendoza of Orland was born on July 21st, 1947, in Michoacan, Mexico, to Elijio Mendoza and Eulalia Coria. Julio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 20th, 2025, in Redding, California.

Julio is survived by his sons Vicente and Fernando Mendoza, daughters Maria Isabel Mojica, Rubi Torres, and Edelmira Haro, brothers Rogelio and Froylan Mendoza, sisters Sylvia Moreno and Teresa Avalos, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Julio is preceded in death by his wife Bertha Mendoza, brother Marcelino Mendoza, and sister Maura Mendoza.

Viewing for Julio will be held on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, from 4-7pm with a Vigil at 6pm at the Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary Chapel in Orland. Mass will be held at St. Mary's the next morning on Friday, January 31st, 2025, at 11am. Following Mass, Julio will be buried next to his beloved wife, Bertha, at the Catholic Cemetery located at 3900 County Road P, Orland, California.

Arrangements are held under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.
