Lloyd Ronald Garzoli, passed away in Orland, California, on May 7, 2026.
He is survived by his beloved life partner, Carol Palmer; his loving children, David (Lori) Garzoli of Van Alstyne, Texas, Tammi (Andy) Garzoli-Newsum of Chico, California, and Michael (Julie) Garzoli of Orland, California; and his cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Haley, Zachary, and Dominic Garzoli, and Carly, Ellie, and Isaac Newsum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as the children and grandchildren of Carol Palmer.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his dear brother, Vernon Garzoli of Petaluma, California, who passed away in 2011.
A member of the pioneer Genazzi, Conti, and Garzoli families, Lloyd was born, raised, and educated in Petaluma. He completed a four-year electrician apprenticeship at Mare Island Naval Shipyard before being drafted into the United States Army in 1958, where he served honorably for two years. Following his military service, he returned to the family dairy in Petaluma.
Lloyd was a dairyman for more than 40 years, first in Petaluma and later in Orland, California. He was a member of St. Dominic's Parish in Orland and the parish's Knights of Columbus chapter. He also served as a board member of the Orland Senior Center.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at St. Dominic's Church, 822 A Street, Orland, CA 95963. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. A graveside burial service will take place following Mass at Orland Catholic Cemetery, 3900 County Road P, Orland, CA 95963. A reception will follow the graveside service at St. Dominic's Parish Hall, and family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
In lieu of sending flowers the family prefers contributions be made to the Orland High School Football Team, c/o Orland High School, 101 Shasta Street, Orland, CA 95963, or to the Orland Volunteer Fire Department, 810 Fifth Street, Orland, CA 95963.
Arrangements are held under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.
