Margaret "Midge" Elizabeth Brengle, 89, of Orland, died March 28,2022. At her request, no services will be held.

Born in Vallejo, CA, she was the daughter of William and Beatrice Hatt. She attended Nurse's Training in San Francisco and worked as an RN at the Queen of the Valley and Napa State Hospitals. In 1967, she and her husband, Robert "Bill" Brengle, moved to Orland, CA and started a Cattle Ranch. She was a Member of the Orland Eagles, Saint Dominic Church Altar Society,
and a volunteer librarian at Mill Street School.

Survivors include one daughter, Cecilia "Sis" Whitmer of Coos Bay, OR; three sons, Robert and wife, Donna, of Grass Valley, Thomas of Orland, and Joseph of Antioch; as well as four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Dementia Society of America. Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary of Orland.
