Obituary

Maria Luisa "Prieta" Cabral age 76 of Orland, CA passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday November 13, 2018. Maria was born July 1, 1942 in Jimenez, Chihuahua, Mexico to parents Baltazar Espinoza & Hilaria Armendariz. She married her husband Samuel Cabral on November 6, 1966 & they enjoyed 52 wonderful years of marriage. Maria & Samuel raised their children (Samuel Jr. & Patricia) in the San Fernando Valley, & later in 1990 they moved to Orland, CA. Maria took pride in her work, she spent 23 years at the Bell Carter Foods in Corning, CA. & later she became partner of Sam Cabral Family Orchard & Cabral Nuts. Maria was a really great joker, she just loved being happy. She loved tending to her garden. & she loved each of her grandchildren in different ways. Maria is survived by her husband; Samuel Cabral (Orland), son; Samuel Cabral Jr. (Alicia), daughter; Patricia Martinez (Mario), grandchildren; Samuel III (Lynette) (Arizona), Michael Castro (Chico), Vincent Cabral (San Diego), Christopher Martinez, and Riena Martinez (Orland), & great grandchild; Helena Bacca-Martinez (Orland).
A memorial mass will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the St. Dominic's Church, all are welcome to join.
