Marjorie May Costa (LaVigne) passed away April 30, 2021. Marjorie was born in Grants Pass, Oregon on July 19, 1924 to William Henry and Louisa LaVigne. She married her war time love Robert Costa in 1942.

Marjorie was an author who wrote a full length novel, along with many short stories, and poems for which she won several awards. She was a talented seamstress, an accomplished cake decorator, and catered many children events and weddings.

But mostly she loved being a mother and wife to her husband of 66 years. She was a great mom to her three kids and an anchor to our family.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her Husband Robert Costa. She is survived by her sons Robert Costa, Dan Costa, daughter Rebecca O'Toole (James), 9 Grand-Children, 18 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary, small graveside service will be held on May 13, 2021 at 11AM at the Masonic Cemetery in Orland California. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
