MARVIN FRANCIS CHRISTIAN of Orland, CA passed away July 3, 2018 in Chico, CA, at the age of 83. Marvin was born January 15, 1935 in Orland, CA to Oscar Francis Christian and Alberta Dora Christian. He graduated from Orland High and later served in the U.S. Army.  During Marvin's working days he spent 30 years with the U.S. Forestry, & 15 years with a private industry. He was a member of the Orland Moose Lodge, & enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, gardening and bowling.  Marvin is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Jane Christian, brother; Albert John Christian, daughters; Cathy Smith and Marlene Alberta Baker; Four grandchildren; Five great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers you can make memorial contributions to the Orland Fire Dept or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Please join us in a graveside service Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 10 A.M. out at the Oddfellows Cemetery.  Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary, 825 A Street, Orland, CA 95963 is handling all arrangements.
