Michia Ann Stanbery, resident of Orland, California, unexpectedly passed away on November 21, 2020 in Chico, California. She is dearly missed by family and friends. Michia was born on July 4 ^th , 1941 in the town of Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Eugena Stutchman and M. Barcelona. Michia married on April 4 ^th , 1969 to Everett E. Stanbery. They remained married until Everett's passing on July 5 ^th , 2015. Michia was one of the lucky few to be able to stay home and raise their two sons, Daryl and Thomas. She is survived by her sons, Daryl E. Stanbery (Amy) of San Carlos, California, and Thomas P. Stanbery (Jennifer) of Marsing, Idaho, and five grandchildren, Samantha Lancaster (Zachary), Elizabeth Stanbery, T.J. Stanbery, Lauren Stanbery, and Ryan Stanbery.  Services will be private, under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.
