Mitchell Prince, 57, of Orland, California, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 2, 2020 after his long battle with cancer. He was born in Quincy, California to parents Kenneth and Betty Prince on November 11, 1962.

He lived in Quincy until he moved to Orland in the early 80's where he worked construction until he fell ill.

Many will say he lived his life on his terms and was as stubborn as they come, but he loved his family, and his dogs, who went everywhere with him. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing, and when he could watch his grandchildren's sporting events.

He is survived by his Son, Steven Prince (Natalia) of Willows; Daughter, Kristen Hofhenke (Jim) of Willows, CA; Son, Taylor Barrera of Paradise, CA; Father, Kenneth Prince of Orland, CA; Brothers, Kenneth Lane Prince of Red Bluff, CA and Matthew Prince of Diamond Bar, CA; Grandchildren, Bradley, Maya, Cash, Kierra, Austin, and Lucas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Macy.

He will be greatly missed by many, but his family finds comfort in the belief he is no longer suffering, and his mother was there to welcome him home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
