Nicolasa Dimas Moreno passed away at the age of 89 on August 11, 2025, in Orland, California surrounded by her family. She was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on December 23, 1935, to parents Cecilio and Gregoria Dimas. Nicolasa was a resident of Orland for 52 years.

She married Jose Jesus Moreno on September 26, 1952, and enjoyed 68 years with him. During those years, they raised a family of 11.

Nicolasa is survived by her children Jesus Moreno Jr., Narciso Moreno, Armando Moreno, Arturo Moreno, Eduardo Moreno, Daniel Moreno, Carmen Grosberg, Clarita Moreno, Mary Zuniga, Olivia Moreno, and Socorro Fonsen. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held from 9am to 10am on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at the Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary chapel with mass to follow at 11am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Orland, California.
