Randall (Randy) Vincent Wall was born on September 15, 1967, in Chico, California, to Gerald and Donna Wall of Orland, where he grew up. He passed away on Monday, April 11th, at home in Orland from ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) which he valiantly fought for the past 12 years.

Randy attended Orland High School, where he played basketball, was involved in student government, and excelled in academic. After graduations, he majored in civil engineering at California State University, Chico, graduating in 1990. He later received his Master's in Geotechnical Engineering. from California State University, Sacramento. He worked many years for Golder Associats of Roseville, where he was a senior consultant.

A lifelong learner, Randy was an advocate for education and self improvement, which he passed on to his boys, Benjamin and Ethan Wall. His children were the driving forces in his life. When the boys were young, Randy served as a soccer and baseball coach for their teams. He also shared his love of trvel with them, going on many excursions to places in Mexico, Washington, D.C., and Florida.

Randyis survived by his sons, Benjamin Wall of Boise, Idaho, Ethan Wall of Rocklin, California; his parents, Gerald and Donna Wall of Orland; sister, Loretta(Brian) Gonsalves of Chico; niece, Jillian (Dallas) Saxton of Layton, Utah; nephew Joseph (Miesha) Cole of North Carolina. He is also survived by his aunt and godmother, Jean (Joe) Sica and numerous cousins.

Per Randy's request, a close family service will be held graveside at Chico Cemetery on May 13th at 10 a.m.
