"Randy", Randolph James Cole, of Capay, California passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at
his home. Randy was born January 11, 1954 in Lincoln, Nebraska and has now joined his
parents, sister and brother in heaven. Randy is survived by his daughter, Aimee Steingraber,
son, Randy T. Cole, his life partner, Terri Dowd, the Anderson family, 7 grandchildren, his sister
and scores of others who loved him dearly.
As a young man, Randy was proud to be a pro motorcross racer, though he found his calling in
construction and was a truly gifted craftsman. This came through in his love for woodworking.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, farming, and playing out on the boat.
More than anything, Randy loved the company of his family and friends, especially when the
kids where there to play. Randy was always there to help friends and family with projects or just
a cold beer. Randy always encouraged us to try our best "because you never know until you
try". He will be greatly missed and we will remember the love, laughs, silly jokes and pranks that
he played on all of us.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 1 at "The Ranch",
7208 Cutting Ave, Orland, CA 95963.
