Raymundo Flores Salgado passed away on November 23 ^rd , 2020 at the age of 87. Raymundo was born on January 23, 1933 in Iguala, Mexico to Tomas Salgado and Reyes Flores. Raymundo has been a resident of Orland CA for the last 50 years.

Raymundo was very family-oriented. He was married 50 years before being widowed in 2016. He had 5 natural children (1 son and 4 daughters) and 2 step-boys. He had 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was a very hard worker. He could outwork people half his age. He grew up on a cattle ranch and worked in agriculture all his life. He purchased his farm in Capay in 1972. He enjoyed working in his prune orchard and enjoyed that for 30 years.  He planted a big garden every year and had many fruit trees. Raymundo is fondly remembered for always sharing fresh fruit and vegetables from his garden throughout the neighborhood with his friends and neighbors. He spent a lot of time tending the rose garden which he planted and maintained for his wife, even after she passed.

Raymundo Salgado is survived by his son, Thomas Salgado, Daughters, Elizabeth Odneal (Jeremy) of Shingletown Ca, Barbara Salgado, Gloria Bradley, Angela Lopez, Step-son Larry Woody, and two Brothers, Efran Salgado, and Julian Salgado, both of Mexico.  Services will be Private and under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.
