Rogelio Montalvo-Rodarte, 61, of Orland, CA, passed away in his home on February 22, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. All of Rogelio's family came together to surround him with love and comfort in the days leading up to his passing.

Rogelio was born August 10, 1957 in Zacatecas, Mexico to parents Elvira Rodarte and Esteban Montalvo. In 1972 Rogelio joined our wonderful community and began building a life for him and his family. He spent 45 years working hard as a farm laborer. In his free time, Rogelio enjoyed horse racing, but there was nothing he loved more then spending time with his 9 grandchildren. Rogelio is survived by his wife; Beatriz Montalvo, daughters; Elvira Montalvo and Veronica Montalvo, and son; Rogelio Montalvo Jr., all of Orland, CA.

All are welcome to join family for services. A closed-casket viewing will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at St. Dominic's Church, from 4-7 P.M. Following this is a Rosary beginning at 7 P.M. and ending at 8 P.M. A Mass will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 10 A.M. at St. Dominic's Church. After Mass, we will proceed to graveside at the Catholic Cemetery.
