It is with great sadness that the family of Roger J. Hansen announces his passing while at home surrounded by family, on Tuesday March 23, 2021; at the age of 63. Roger was born on September 6th, 1957 in Oceano California; son of the late Robert E. Hansen and Della F. Hansen. Roger and his brothers shared fond memories of tubing and boating along the Sacramento River with friends. He graduated from Hamilton High School (class of 76') and worked as a truck driver before going on to work in the almond processing field for over 30 years.

Roger was an extraordinary person. He was kind, loving, compassionate, giving and never met a stranger. Even in difficult times he would bring his sense of humor and a little mischief to lighten everyone's spirit. His absence leaves a tremendous loss in the lives of family members and many dear friends. He was a hard worker but in his spare time he loved to travel to the coast, ride motorcycles, work around his property and spend time with family.

Roger's love and devotion for family, friends and community was incomparable. He supported high school athletics & welding programs, coached girls Jr Varsity basketball for Orland High School for several years, participated in local FFA fair auctions & Glenn County Search and Rescue.

Moving forward his love and values will be reflected by his family; Wife Carol and Daughters Brenda, Melissa, Sara, Alisha and Veronica. Roger will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren. He was preceded by his brothers Rick Hansen & Robert C. Hansen. Roger will be missed and never forgotten, our love for him will live on forever.

A private interment will take place at Oddfellows Cemetery for immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
