Ronald Leonard Johnson, resident of Hamilton City, California, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18 ^th , 2020. He is dearly missed by his family and friends.  Ronald was born on April 21, 1953 in Chico, California. In Ronald's younger life he owned a landscaping business in Maui, Hawaii. He also worked as a manager for a very popular Maui cinnamon roll store.  Ronald Johnson spent the last 15 years of his life as a local truck driver.  When Ronald wasn't working, he avidly loved fishing in the Sacramento River, catching anything from salmon and sturgeon to pike.  His best friend and canine companion, Hooty, was always by his side. When Ronald was able to, he enjoyed tinkering with toys and spending time working on his Ford Ranchero, until he ultimately realized he was not a mechanic. Ronald Leonard Johnson was survived by Father, Virgil H. Johnson of Orland, Brother, John L. Johnson of Orland, Step-Sisters, Diana Trammel of Orland, Kathy Thomas of Chico, and Step Brother, Michael Madsen of Orland. Ronald was a loving uncle to Melony Johnson and Tyler Orozco.  Services will be private, under the direction of Sweet- Olsen Family Mortuary.
