Sandra Lee Duckworth was born September 22nd 1946 in Marin county, shortly after her birth Sandra was adopted by John & Julia Cherrington.

Sandy grew up in Napa Valley on a milk dairy with her sisters before her family relocated to the Orland area, where Sandy later graduated from high school.

Sandy married Dan Duckworth in 1975, living in the Glenn County area raising their 5 sons and more than a dozen grandchildren over the next 49 years.

Sandy was a dedicated mother, wife, and a devoted Christian. She loved to sing, draw, and write stories for her loved ones.

She passed into heaven on April 24th 2025, she is survived by her sisters Shirley & Linda as well as her 5 sons Darryl, Don, Michael, Paul, Daniel & their families.

A celebration of life will take place at the home of Bill & Shirley Hayton on May 31st @ 11am. 4308 County Rd. H Orland Ca 95963.
