Haley Davis, General Manager of our Orland Mortuary, is fully licensed as a Funeral Director and Preneed Insurance Agent. In 2011, Haley obtained an Associate of Science degree in Psychology. After that, she earned an Associate of Science degree in Baking and Pastries at the Art Institute of Sacramento in 2014. In 2017, Haley completed EMT training at Oroville Adult Education. Sweet-Olsen Family has employed Haley since 2020, helping her to realize her long-term dream of pursuing a career in Funeral Service. Haley’s tireless drive to provide excellent service propelled her quickly through the ranks of funeral assistant to become our outstanding manager of the Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary. In July of 2024, she continued her education by completing a course in Mass Fatalities Training for Rural Communities.
Haley has strong family ties to Glenn County, in that her people are, and have always been, involved in rice production in the Willows area. Outside of work, Haley enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, Ryan. Weekends will find the family hiking, biking, taking neighborhood walks with the family dogs, swimming, kayaking, and renovating/redecorating their family home. Every Thursday, Haley’s entire family gathers together to enjoy dinner at her mother’s house. Haley remains very family oriented and carries these values into her professional career as well. Every family that comes to Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary is treated to the same respect and care Haley would provide for her own family! Haley exhibits a great deal of compassion in her position and for the Glenn County Community.

Ken Olsen obtained his funeral director’s license and embalmer’s license in the late 70’s. Throughout the past 49+ years, he has served families at several Southern California mortuaries, from small family-run businesses through midsized funeral corporations to an enormous international corporation. His practical experience serves our families well in his role as owner of Sweet-Olsen Family.
In 2024, Ken obtained his funeral insurance license, ensuring that our firm will provide improved options for our client families who are interested in completing pre-need funeral arrangements. Ken’s memberships include: the National Funeral Directors Association, the California Funeral Directors Association, the Native Sons of the Golden West, he is a lifetime member of the Sons of Norway, and a member of the Orland Chamber of Commerce.

Emmy Tilson is a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer, and Preneed Insurance Agent. Emmy graduated from American River College in 2022 with her Associates degree Mortuary Science. Emmy Takes pride in helping families through their time of greatest need.
In her free time, Emmy enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and senior cat. Emmy also enjoys spending quiet evenings at home with a craft project and a good movie.

Dillon Pealock was born in San Diego to two navy veterans, lived in a number of states across the US including Washington, Nevada, Utah and and Oklahoma where he attended high school. Proud father who loves taking his son out camping and hiking. With a passion of world history and nature lover. New to this area in Northern California, but eager to make his place here and serve the local community.
